Step-by-step Guide to Setting Up OpenVPN on Windows 10

Please note.. The Kodi DNS diagnostic addon will NOT work while you are on VPN. It is for DNS only.

Step 1: Download OpenVPN Windows 10 Client.

Step 2: Install and launch OpenVPN client (Important: Run OpenVPN client as Administrator)

Step 3: Go to your unblockr profile and enter your VPN folder. Click "REGENERATE".

You only need to do this one time as it links your account to the config files.

Step 4: Download your config file/files.

If you click on the little arrow then it will open up the other 3 files for you to select.

The actual files end with .opvn and will normally be downloaded to "download" folder but could go elsewhere.

Step 5: Find the location of the downloaded opvn files and copy them to C:\Program Files\OpenVPN\config.

Step 6: Right-click on the OpenVPN client icon, select one of the profiles, and click Connect.

Depending on your settings you may just be able to click on the opvn file and it will automatically link into Openvpn or it will ask you what program you wish to use.

If you have issues with IPV6 then go into your openvpn settings and select IPV4 tunnel only.

You should now be connected and using your VPN ip.

Remember if you are going to Torrent or File share you must use "Torrent/Downoads" config file.
